She became famous after singing at a Utah Jazz game. This adolescent is now on 'American Idol.'

Paige Anne stood in the middle of Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, surrounded by thousands of onlookers, when she was just 11 years old.

 and sang the national anthem before a game between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Idaho Falls singer had won an audition to play at the game in 2018

 an audition that nearly didn't happen because she was unwell. However, as her mother told Eastidahonews.com at the time,

Before the audition, Anne prayed, and her "voice came out of nowhere" and "blew (the) judges away."

Anne, now 16, is a contestant on "American Idol" and has made it to the top 20.

Anne made it to the top 20 on "Idol" on April 23. During the episode, the teenager - the youngest remaining vocalist in the competition 

 became emotional when performing "Say Something" by A Great Big World.
