NBA playoffs: Heat rule out Jimmy Butler for Game 2 vs. Knicks with ankle issue.

Jimmy Butler won't be available for the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Due to a sprained ankle, the Heat declared Butler ineligible for Game 2 of

Their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the New York Knicks.

Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle will both play in Game 2 according to the Knicks.

Randle and Brunson were both coping with minor ankle problems. Randle was forced to miss Game 1 of the series as a result.

In the closing moments of Miami's seven-point victory over the Knicks in Game 1 on Sunday,

Butler injured his right ankle. Butler's right ankle rolled severely as he attempted to drive to the rim against Knicks player Josh Hart.

Butler committed a foul during the play, but he laid in agony on the court at Madison Square Garden for a while before converting his free throws.
