Ezekiel Elliott Refuses To Discuss Cowboys Release

Since his numbers have declined, the Cowboys dismissed Elliott on Mar. 15,

the first day of the new league year.

They also prefer Tony Pollard, a better running back at this point.

Elliott declined to comment when the Cowboys asked about that release.

"I'm great," Elliott said. "Doing great."

While Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst effectively stated that the Packers aren't asking for the Jets' first-round pick this year as part of the transaction, Esiason said he thinks the two teams might swap first-rounders.

He wants to go on to his next experience without looking back.

Despite being healthy, he hasn't signed with a new team. As OTAs, minicamp, and training camp approach, that may change.
