Cowboys teach Packers franchise management. QB

Dak Prescott, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, has revealed that the team has asked for his opinion on potential draft picks.

When an NFL team makes a significant long-term financial commitment to a quarterback,

maintaining a healthy working relationship is a priority. One method to achieve this is to solicit and carefully examine their feedback on the roster.

Teams would rather not be in a position where their rapport with their quarterback is strained.

The Dallas Cowboys are taking measures to prevent it from happening with quarterback Dak Prescott.

Prescott told reporters at Friday night's Children's Cancer Fund "Light it Up" Gala that he plans to watch film on wide receiver prospects the Cowboys are contemplating for next week's NFL Draft.

Prescott repeated this behavior from a year ago.
