Coachella security are seen in backstage video fighting with Swae Lee and his crew before the performance.
Leaked video shows that rapper Swae Lee of the hip-hop group Rae Sremmurd got into a brawl with Coachella security before taking the stage.
Swae Lee and his entourage allegedly engaged in "an all-out royal rumble" with security minutes before the rapper and Slim Jxmmi were scheduled to perform onstage at Coachella.
Although the brawl's footage doesn't live up to the "Royal Rumble" anticipation,
it is almost miraculous that Swae Lee was able to take the stage so soon after it happened.
The infant kid of Swae Lee was present when the fight started, however it is impossible to determine from the footage.
After security "swarmed in like piranhas," according to TMZ, "someone in Lee's entourage got pummeled." The entire time, his infant was nearby in a car seat.
According to a statement given to TMZ by a Swae Lee representative:
Overzealous security agents stopped Swae Lee, his infant son, and his working team as they tried to enter the festival.
He was scheduled to perform as 1/2 of Rae Sremmurd at 5:55 PM on Coachella's Outdoor Theatre stage.
