Candace Cameron Bure Plays U.S. Army Reservist in Next Great American Family Holiday Movie

Candace Cameron Bure has scheduled her next holiday movie for Great American Family.

In My Christmas Hero, Bure plays a U.S. Army reservist and orthopedic surgeon. Great American Christmas returns in October with original movie premieres Saturdays and Sundays and 24/7 holiday movies through December.

Nicole Ramsey, played by Bure, serves military families at the Joint Military Base in Lacey, Washington, home of I Corps and the 62nd Airlift Wing. Dr. Ramsey is helping many heroes remember a slain soldier and heal her family this Christmas.

“We are proud to tell a story that honors our U.S. veterans this Christmas. "From WW2 to present day veterans, we highlight their heroic work and aftercare needs," Bure added.

“Our talented cast and crew are thrilled to bring it to our Great American Family audience.”

Veteran Productions, Candy Rock Entertainment, and Syrup Studios produce My Christmas Hero. Martin Wood directs a Jim Head screenplay produced by Mick MacKay.

Bure, Ford Englerth, Jeffery Brooks, Jim Head, Gerald Webb, Eric Jarboe, Holly Hines, Martin Wood, and Trevor McWhinney executive produce. Jonathan Shore, Robyn Wiener, Michael Shepard, and Doran Chandler supervise.

GAC Media contracted Bure to develop, produce, and appear in Great American Family and GAC Living movies and TV shows in spring 2022. The Fuller House star oversees and curates programming for the company and develops and produces material for GAC platforms through Candy Rock Entertainment.
